North 55
North 55 is a friendly family run shop ran by Inga Irvine and Jack Hayes. They are “striving to promote individuality, offering items that are not mass produced, but instead each piece crafted and carefully chosen to provoke thought, emotion and imagination.”
Inga and Jack are an enthusiastic and talented couple that produce their own stunning art as well as selling a selection of local crafts and products. By priding themselves in producing and selling non-commercial and affordable local work of high quality, they are able to help support creatives and the community alike.

The couple produce impressive pieces of abstract art that is inspired by the world around them. They use a verity of textures, patterns and colours that reflect natures beauty in order to create a beautiful range of abstract paintings.
“Most works are abstract encouraging the viewer to immerse themselves in various contexts. These artworks do not attempt to represent a recognizable reality but instead use shape, colour, form and texture to achieve effect.”
