Juliette remembers it starting when her mother and father began to sell cauliflowers in the lay by on the back of a trailer because they had too many for themselves. Soon other farmers began to ask the family to sell their extra stock too, turning the stall into a promising business. Just over 40 years later and the stall has expanded to a huge variety of fruit and veg, as well as local milk, cheese, meat, honey, bread and even flowers. Today, the passion for selling the local produce still shines through the hospitality of this kind-hearted family.
With almost all the produce coming from local producers, not only is it helping reduce the carbon footprint, but it is a big support of the local Cornish economy. Best of all, all this fresh food is exactly that, FRESH! All the produce is delicious, grown with the knowledge and dedication of years of local farming.
